Employers, Employees Both Favor Confidential Wage Figures
A study by the jobseeker website CV Keskus found that 90 percent of employers and workers do not support universally disclosed salaries, while only a fifth back revealing wages inside a company.
The vast majority, 96 percent, of employers said they prefer to keep wage figures hidden even inside the organization, uudised.err.ee reported today.
The high figures are partially supported by the statistics that most employees already know the salaries of their coworkers, with only 24 percent saying they have no interest in their colleagues' salaries.
