On Friday, the harbor at Värska, along with its 300 m promenade was reopened after 30 years.

ETV's daily affairs show "Aktuaalne kaamera" reported on Friday that the harbor will be managed by Seto Line Reisid, who will also offer boating trips on Värska bay, Lake Lämmijärv and also to Lüübnitsa.

Raul Kudre, Mayor of Värska, said: "The development of Värska has gotten its start from this little harbor and Värska Northern Camp (used for trainings during the time of the Republic of Estonia in 1920-1939 - ed.). This is not just the reopening of some harbor, this is the restoration of a historical landmark."

Harbor captain Mart Linnus said: "We hope that boats find it comfortable to moor and beach here. Also to visit Värska so that the harbor would be able to provide essential assistance."
