Gallery: Heavy rain washes away soil under Tallinn-Narva highway
Heavy rain washed away a part of the soil below the Tallinn-Narva highway at the 120th kilometer in Padaorg, a valley in Lääne-Viru County, on Tuesday.
The soil has collapsed in two places. One side of the road is closed and the speed is limited to 50 km/h.
Repair work on the section will begin on Thursday, the Road Administration told ERR on Wednesday.
It hopes it will not be necessary to redirect traffic as more than 4,200 cars pass through the section every day.
