Snow, Sleet to Return Over Weekend
Winter is not ready to release its stranglehold quite yet. This weekend's forecast calls for decreasing temperatures and precipitation over the weekend, lasting possibily until Tuesday
While Estonian Language Day on Friday should be continue the unseasonably warm trend with temperatures around 6-9 C with the sun up, the forecast for tonight and Saturday calls for a 100 percent chance of a mix of snow and sleet. Daytime temperatures of 1-2 C will drop at night to -2 C.
Snow showers are also forecast for Monday and Tuesday, with a 30 percent chance of precipitation. Highs should hover around the freezing point, with nighttime temperatures in the -5-6 C range.
Tuesday might be the first chance at relief from precipitation, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures around +1 C.
On the brighter side, the northern hemisphere contines to tilt toward summer. Saturday will be 5 minutes, 20 seconds longer than Friday.
