Rõivas: No Political Compatibility With Savisaar
Taavi Rõivas, starting his first full working week as prime minister today, said he cannot imagine engaging in political co-operation with Center Party leader Edgar Savisaar.
In an interview with the daily Postimees, Rõivas was asked about meeting Tallinn mayor and Center Party leader Edgar Savisaar - something the previous PM Andrus Ansip refused to do.
Rõivas said that if some work issue requires a meeting with Edgar Savisaar, he will certainly attend, but he stressed his views differ from Savisaar not only in domestic, but also foreign policy.
“I cannot imagine political co-operation with him,” Rõivas said.
