Tallinn kindergartens will start the year as usual in September
The school year will begin as usual for kindergartens in Tallinn in September and without restrictions or big organizational changes.
Virmalise Kindergarten director Kerli Stein told ETV's "Aktuaalne kaamera" on Wednesday the term will start calmly.
Stein noted the city is recommending kindergartens take into account certain preventive measures, which are also done on a daily basis. "But there are definitely no regulations now that we should change our work or work organization," she added.
Grüüne Ott, director of Endla Kindergarten, said a child could be dropped off at kindergarten in the morning by the same parent so kindergarten does not be a place for adults to socialize.
"We are more group-based and more outdoors. I think the greatest thing is cooperation, trust and flexibility," said Ott.
