Former defense minister, ambassador and poet Jaak Jõerüüt said reasons for the Paris attacks can also be found in the faulty social system which is producing people who do not want to work, adding that he hopes the events served as a wake-up call for Europe.
“On one hand I would like to emotionally yell at the top of my voice, for example warnings on integration in Europe which have long ago been voiced, but on the other hand I would like to remain silent as it is very difficult to add anything verbally to this mad situation,” he said
He said emotionally he would prefer not to delve deeper into the subject of integration but, he said, the situation is bad and getting worse day-by-day and intellectually, a deeper analysis is needed.
The current Western approach to integration is one of political correctness and the media tries to blur any debate on integration, and the social system stops integration from working, he said.
