Revised turnout at 64.2%
The National Electoral Committee has released updated turnout figures, revised upward by 0.5 percentage points for a total turnout of 64.2 percent, 1.2 percent more than four years ago.
Turnout for e-voting (19.6 percent) and advance polls (33.0 percent including e-votes) remained unchanged.
Harju County passed Tallinn as the area with highest election participation, now at 69.7 percent. A total of 69.4 percent of eligible Tallinn voters exercised their right to vote. Tartu was a distant third with 66.4 percent.
Ida-Viru County remained at the foot of the table with 55.0 percent, followed by Valga County (56.9 percent) and Saare County (58.7 percent).
The committee began the recount of all votes at 10:00 today.
