EOK premieres Estonian uniforms for Rio Olympics
The Estonian Olympic Committee (EOK) debuted the Estonian collection for the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics at Tallinn Seaplane Harbour today.
The blue, black and white nautical-themed collection was designed by Monton, in collaboration with the EOK, and influenced by the Baltic nation's connection to the sea — a connection which is also being celebrated in Estonia with the 2016 Year of Maritime Culture.
Monton has previously designed the uniforms for the Estonian Olympic teams in the Athens, Torino, Beijing, Vancouver, London and Sochi Games.
As of April 18, 31 Estonian athletes have qualified for the Summer Games. The Estonian Olympic roster will be finalized no later than July 18.
The Rio 2016 Summer Olympics will take place from August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
