Ilves criticizes trivial focus of presidential election coverage
Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves criticized recent coverage of the presidential elections for focusing on candidates' hobbies and interests in a brief tweet on Friday.
"The president is responsible for foreign and security policy," read the current president's tweet. "There is Nice, NATO, Brexit. What is examined instead are candidates' dogs, paintings and taste in music."
President vastutab välis- & julgeolekupoliitika eest. On Nice, NATO, Brexit. Uuritakse hoopis kandidaatide koeri, maale & muusikamaitset.
