Trilini becomes full owner of Eesti Gaas
Investment company Trilini, the majority of whose shares are owned in turn by Infortar, has taken over a 1.15-percent minority holding in the Estonian natural gas importer and seller Eesti Gaas for 70 million euros, as a result of which it will receive
"During the long sales process, we treated all our shareholders equally and as we planned at the start of the year, we reached a final agreement this year," CEO of Infortas and chairman of the supervisory board of Eesti Gaas Ain Hanschmidt said in a press release.
Hanschmidt added that the company sees opportunities for growth in the sales of electricity and transport gas and is also weighing other options in energetics.
Infortar subsidiary Trilini Energy offered to buy Fortum Heat and Gas's 51 percent stake in Eesti Gaas in February of this year. The offer was accepted and Trilini Energy acquired the shares on March 30.
