Kredex opens home support round for families with three or more children
Families with at least three children up to the age of 19 and an average income per family member of €355 or less will be able to apply for financial support from state fund Kredex to fix up their homes starting May 29. The state has allocated €3 million for the purpose.
The money is intended for families that don’t have a home, or whose home doesn’t provide elementary comforts, such as running water, a working sewage system or washing facilities. Other points include a roof that doesn’t leak, or a lacking or missing heating system.
The maximum amount families can apply for is €8,000, and €5,000 if a family has applied for this kind of support payment before.
Kredex is a state-run fund that supports businesses and individuals with loans, risk capital, and financial guarantees as well as with contributions to making housing energy efficient.
