Kaljulaid to attend Munich Security Conference, Lithuanian centennial
This week, President Kersti Kaljulaid will be attending the Munich Security Conference as well as events celebrating the Lithuanian centennial in Vilnius on Friday.
The Munich Security Conference, which is the most important annual transatlantic security and foreign policy forum, will take place from Thursday through Sunday, according to an Office of the President press release.
Kaljulaid will be one of dozens of heads of state, government leaders, large business leaders and think tank representatives, among others, to participate in the conference.
On Friday, the Estonian president will travel to Vilnius, where she will participate in a number of events celebrating the Lithuanian centennial, including a ceremonial raising of the Baltic flags, Holy Mass for the Homeland at the Vilnius Cathedral Basilica of Saints Stanislaus and Vladislaus, and a lunch hosted by Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė.
Kaljulaid is scheduled to return to Munich on Friday evening, and to Estonia on Sunday evening.
