Hamburger Purchased with Counterfeit 200-euro Note
An unknown criminal took advantage of a Pärnu vendor, purchasing a hamburger with a counterfeit 200-euro note.
Fake 50-euro notes have been much talked about over the last few days, but the Pärnu example demonstrates that some criminals think bigger. In addition to the hamburger, a counterfeit 100-euro note was used in a toy store, reported ERR radio.
West Prefecture criminal bureau chief Nils Sempelson cautioned people to be on their guard when small items are purchased with large bills.
