The road to next year's Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland is underway, with songwriters in Estonia already able to submit their entries for the 2025 edition of Eesti Laul. An expert jury will select fifteen songs to go straight through to the 2025 Eesti Laul final on February 15, with one an additional place left available for a song chosen via a public vote.
On Saturday, September 28, Tallinn's Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom is set to open its new exhibition "Defending Freedom: Estonian Civil Society in the Russo-Ukrainian War." The exhibition highlights the role and contribution of Estonian civil society in helping Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion began in February 2022.

On Thursday, July 18, British singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer Jacob Collier performed at the Tartu Song Festival Grounds (Lauluväljak) with Take 6. In an interview with ETV show "Aktuaalne kaamera", Collier said that for him, music is one of the best languages in the world for translating life into emotion.
Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant and his current band Saving Grace are set to perform live in Estonia next May. Plant and Saving Grace will be appearing at Tallinn's Alexela Concert Hall on May 21, 2025.
