Starting Monday, Feb. 27, the Tallink Shuttle fast boats Megastar and Star will be using the new West Terminal 2 in Helsinki’s West Harbor, which is expected to significantly reduce the walking distance between the terminal and the ships.

“We are extremely pleased that our fast ferry passengers will receive a perfect welcome or farewell in the form of the new terminal building. The terminal building is beautiful, and the ships will berth right by its side. No more long walks in passenger corridors, but beautiful views and fast embarkation and disembarkation,” CEO of Tallink Silja, Margus Schults, said.

As there are now two terminals in the West Harbor, the company is advising passengers to check before the start of the journey from which terminal their ship leaves.

Tallink’s third ship serving the Tallinn-Helsinki route, the Silja Europa, will continue to use Terminal 1.
