21.01.21 NEWS ... The new World Rally Championship (WRC) season will take off in Monte Carlo at 3.08 p.m. Estonian time on Thursday. Estonian driver Ott Tänak (Hyundai) said his goal is to capture the season title and that last year's complications have only made his team better.
19.01.21 NEWS ... Outgoing Minister of Culture Tõnis Lukas (Isamaa) wrote in a proposal to the Ministry of Social Affairs that the ministry should also consider athletes when drawing up vaccination schedules. Lukas would see athletes vaccinated after health care and frontline workers.

15.01.21 NEWS ... Estonian racing driver Jüri Vips will participate in the next Formula 2 season as part of the Hitech Grand Prix team. The Estonian's team-mate for the season will be New Zealand driver Liam Lawson, the series announced on Friday.
15.01.21 NEWS ... Estonian basketball team BC Kalev/Cramo, playing with eight players, lost their first match after a pause forced upon them by an outbreak of the coronavirus within the team. Kalev had to admit 61:87 defeat to BC Avtodor in the VTB United League.
14.01.21 NEWS ... Rally Estonia will remain a part of the World Rally Championship (WRC) calendar in 2021, set to take place in Tartu and southern Estonia on July 15-18. At a press conference on Wednesday, the rally organizers announced that Rally Estonia will also be a WRC event in 2022.
