The Estonian national carrier has ended its cooperation with Lithuania's new, state-owned Air Lituanica, for which it had been operating two routes, saying the airline has missed many payment dates.

Estonian Air said on its website today that it will initially continue flying the Vilnius-Amsterdam and Vilnius-Berlin routes, but from November 30 will not accept tickets bought via Air Lituanica.

According to an agreement signed in June, Air Lituanica rented one of Estonian Air's Embraer E170 aircraft and crew to serve connections from Vilnius, with additional cooperation on the commercial side of the industry, including ticket sales and transfers. The contract was to last until the end of 2015.

Estonian Air said that all passengers who have bought tickets beginning with the numbers 960 should contact Air Lituanica.
