US M1A2 Abrams tanks took to the Defense Forces' central training area near Tapa on Thursday for a few practice rounds in front of Estonian Lt. Gen. Riho Terras, the chief of defense.
The tanks can fire a total of 20 shots from their 120 millimeters cannons at targets 500 meters away.
Besides Terras, the US ambassador to Estonia was also at the practice, as was Marko Mihkelson, the new head of the Parliament's National Defense Committee, and the other committee members.
The US has deployed a rotating company-sized unit in Estonia, which includes the four tanks.
