Tallink adds departures to Helsinki route, starts traveling to Aland

Tallink will add departures to the Tallinn-Helsinki route and an additional ferry after travel restrictions are eased on June 1.
Tallink said the decision was made based on the growth in demand and to ensure compliance with social distance requirements on board.
Tallink's ship Megastar will start operating on a summer schedule from June 6, with six departures a day. Star will start operating on the new summer schedule on Monday, June 15. It will also depart from Tallinn for Helsinki six times a day.
Victoria I, which previously operated on the Tallinn-Stockholm route before the crisis, will depart from Tallinn for Helsinki once a day at 5 p.m. and from Helsinki to Tallinn at 9.30 a.m. from 8 June.
Silja Europa will start operating on a regular schedule on June 12. There will be no departures from June 19-21.
In June and July, Tallink also offers the opportunity to travel to Aland, in the archipelago between Finland and Sweden, once a week.
The first two departures to the capital Mariehamn will take place on June 19 and 26 on the cruise ship Baltic Queen.
The ship leaves Tallinn at 6 p.m. and arrives in Mariehamn the next morning at 9 a.m. The ship leaves Mariehamn at 6 p.m. and arrives in Tallinn the next morning at 10.15 a.m.
Ticket sales for all additional departures will open on Monday, June 1.
