One new case of coronavirus diagnosed
One new case of coronavirus (COVID-19) was diagnosed in the last 24 hours, official data shows, bringing the total number of cases recorded in Estonia to 2,016.
The case was diagnosed in a resident of Pärnu County. The last time a case of COVID-19 was recorded in a resident of the county was June 6 and there have been 146 confirmed in Pärnu County in total.
In total, 546 tests were analyzed in the last day. Four people are receiving treatment in hospital and there are estimated to be 27 active cases in Estonia. There have been 69 deaths in total.
In recent weeks the cases have been recorded in Harju and Ida-Viru counties. Yesterday, one new case was diagnosed and there were no cases reported over the weekend.
The Health Board is no longer releasing daily updates about new cases, but website Koroonakaart analyzes and publishes the official data every day.
