With the support of the European Union LIFE program and the Environmental Investment Center, bog restoration works are underway in six protected areas. Those interested can see the progress in Lääne-Viru County.
The Järvesoo study trail is different from others because the Estonian Nature Fund will organize 50 special study days there, ETV current news show "Aktuaalne kaamera" reported on Monday.
All visitors can contribute to the restoration of the bog area by taking photographs and sending them to the project coordinators.
"Over the years we can see how this community changes," an expert of the restoration of the swamp areas in the Nature Fund, Marko Kohv, explained.
