Olympic Casino Profit 1.1 Million Euros
Olympic Casino, the leading provider of casino entertainment in Estonia, operated by the Olympic Entertainment Group, earned a profit of 1.2 million euros after taxes last year.
In 2009 the company ended with a loss of 29 million euros and the situation was no better in 2008, with a loss of nearly 33 million euros. In 2007, the company showed no signs of economic downturn making 24 million euros of profit.
In the last quarter of 2010 Olympic Entertainment Group lost 91,000 euros, which was little in comparsion to 2009, when the fourth quarter was ended by minus 4.8 million euros.
By the end of last year, Olympic Entertainment Group employed approximately 2,100 people, which was 230 less than the year before.
