Finnish ferry operator Viking Line says that starting from July 2, all of the company's vessels will resume full operation.

Starting July 2, the MS Cinderella and MS Mariella will resume operation, with MS Mariella operating on the Tallinn-Helsinki route until August 9. The vessel will complement the schedule of MS Viking XPRS on the Tallinn-Helsinki route, meaning that the company has more departures on the route than ever.

The MS Cinderella will operate on the Stockholm-Mariehamn (Aland islands) route and also on special cruises from Stockholm to Visby, Gotland.

MS Amorella and MS Viking Grace will resume operation on the Turku-Aland-Stockholm route. MS Gabriella will continue operation on the Tallinn-Helsinki-Aland route and MS Rosella on the Mariehamn-Kapellskär route.

The number of travellers is increasing with shippers expecting an even further increase in popularity in the coming months.

Kaj Takolander, VP of sales and marketing at Viking Line, said, via a company press release, that: "It is such a great pleasure to see people return to our ships. Our travellers have expressed their satisfaction with the options in our schedule. Visiting neighboring countries for vacations is still very popular and therefore we believe we will see a busy summer."

The company stated that a lot has been done to ensure safety, with many innovative solutions to mitigate the risk of infection and to ensure safety on board the vessels.
