TalTech spokesperson Krõõt Nõges told news portal Delfi (link in Estonian): "The infected person feels well and is home for treatment. The university has cooperated with the Health Board since finding out about the infection."

She confirmed that all close contacts of the student have been discovered and they have also been directed to self-isolation, other students who were in contact have also been notified.

Nõges added: "The rooms in which the infected student has been in have been sufficiently cleaned and safe for use, the situation is under control and the infection case does not pose danger to the school's employees and students."
