Flu vaccine already in Estonian pharmacies
Influenza vaccines from three manufacturers arrived in Estonia at the end of August have now reached pharmacies and health care institutions. Another batch of vaccines will arrive in Estonia next week.
This flu season you can get vaccinated in Estonia with vaccines from three manufacturers - Influvac Tetra, Fluarix Tetra and Vaxigriptetra.
The first batch of the vaccine from Influvac Tetra should already be available in all pharmacies and health care institutions.
The state's Agency of Medicines specialist Stella Sulaoja said: "As of today, 37,800 doses have arrived in Estonia, and a total of 153,000 doses of influenza vaccine are planned to be marketed in Estonia this season. According to current data, the rest of the vaccine is expected to arrive in Estonia in mid-September, i.e. within the next week."
