Electricity prices to jump by 62 percent on Tuesday

On January 18, the average price of electricity will rise by 61.7 percent to €169.3 per megawatt-hour.

It will be highest in the morning between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., rising to €287. Electricity will be cheapest, at €75, just after midnight.
