Patriot air defense missile system presented in Tallinn

U.S. military personnel presented a Patriot long-range air defense missile system in Tallinn on Friday. The system was brought here to rehearse cooperation with the Estonian Air Force.
The launcher currently on Estonian soil will also be part of tomorrow's Independence Day parade on Freedom Square, spokespeople at the headquarters of the Estonian Defence Forces said.
The unit belongs to the United States' 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command and is part of the air and missile defense system of the U.S. Army in Europe.
The MIM 104 Patriot mobile surface-to-air missile system is among the most advanced in the world. It has a range of up to 160 kilometers depending on the type of missile, and its missiles have a maximum flight altitude of 25 kilometers.
