Gallery, video: Baby camels on display at reopened Tallinn Zoo
Tallinn Zoo reopened its outdoor exposition area on May 19. Among other animals, visitors are able to see baby camels who were born during the quarantine.
The indoor exhibits will be open to visitors from June 2. Until then it is possible to walk around the zoo and observe animals outdoors. The 2+2 rule must be followed and the zoo calls for visitors to refrain from touching enclosures and glass walls. Tallinn Zoo is open every day, ticket booths work from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the premises remain open until 8 p.m.
According to director Tiit Maran, 775 people had visited the zoo as of 3 p.m. on the opening day. "Obviously we presume that we will have many visitors during the weekend, which means that we have to have more employees out to monitor compliance with the rules," he said.
