Estonian postal company to purchase up to 1,000 package terminals

Estonian state-owned logistics company AS Eesti Post is set to buy up to 1,000 new automated package terminals over the next five years for an estimated cost of up to 25 million euros.
Eesti Post has announced a public procurement tender for a five-year framework agreement with up to five suppliers.
The procurement will be divided into four parts. Parts 1 and 2 involve the procurement of 100 modular indoor package terminals with a local user interface and an additional 200-300 modular outdoor terminals with a local user interface, respectively.
In Part 3, the company seeks to buy 250-300 smartphone-operated indoor modular parcel terminals without a local user interface and in Part 4, 250-300 smartphone-operated outdoor modular parcel terminals without a local user interface.
The contracting authority reserves the right to increase of decrease the object of the contract or not to buy out the products in the described amount.
Applications for participation in the procurement can be filed until Dec. 14. To qualify for the tender, participants must have posted a revenue of at least two million euros from the sale or manufacture of package machines during the past financial year.
