The Estonian flag was also raised in Narva on Friday morning to mark the start of Independence Day.
Mayor of Narva Katri Raik, former President Kersti Kaljulaid and Minister of Culture Piret Hartmann also attended the ceremony, which took place at 7:18 a.m. as the sun rose at Narva Castle.
