Sophie, Countess of Wessex, is currently on a two-day visit to Estonia. On Tuesday she was greeted by the children of Tallinn's Pallipõnn Kindergarten and met with local scouts and guides. On Wednesday, the countess will meet with British and French soldiers serving at Tapa.

The Countess of Wessex was greeted upon her arrival in Tallinn on Tuesday by the children and employees of Pallipõnn Kindergarten.

She also met with Estonian scouts and guides at a mini scout camp held at the residence of British Ambassador Theresa Bubbear, where in the course of team games she spoke with members of a scout troop comprised of individuals with visual impairments about how to make youth camps for children with visual impairments even safer. Providing opportunities for youth and individuals with disabilities is an important cause for the countess.

The Countess of Wessex also met with Prime Minister Jüri Ratas and President Kersti Kaljulaid on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, she will be visiting Tapa Army Base in order to meet with British and French troops stationed there, reported ETV news broadcast "Aktuaalne kaamera."

The Countess of Wessex is Royal Colonel of the 5th Battalion of The Rifles, an infantry regiment of the British Army.
