Niinistö to visit Tallinn on Saturday

Finnish President Sauli Niinistö will be in Tallinn on Saturday for the annual Lennart Meri Conference, where he is the keynote speaker.

While in Estonia, Niinistö will also meet with Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid, the Office of the President of the Republic of Finland announced.

According to the event's website, this year's edition of the conference, entitled "Darkest Just Before the Dawn?" will focus on severe challenges facing the West and seek to identify opportunities that may arise in bleak moments at hand.

In his keynote address on Saturday evening, Niinistö will discuss the challenges facing international security from Finland's perspective.

The Lennart Meri Conference will take place from May 12-14.
