Tanel Kiik to head prime minister's office
Tanel Kiik is to replace Kairi Uustulnd as the new director of the Office of the Prime Minister.
Kiik's appointment to the position was confirmed to ERR's online news portal by government spokesperson Rasmus Kagge, who said that Martin Lindpere would continue on under Prime Minister Jüri Ratas as economic adviser, Kadri Peeters as security policy adviser and Rein Tammsaar as foreign policy adviser.
Also to leave the prime minister's office were environmental, judicial and internal policy adviser Janis Kukk, social and education policy adviser Kristiina Sild, Liina Vahtras, who handled positions and speeches as well as Toomas Kiho, who advised the prime minister on matters relating to history, regional issues and holiday observances.
