Estonian foreign minister to visit US next week
Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sven Mikser will be in the U.S. for a two-day visit next week.
Mikser will be in the U.S. from March 22-23 for a meeting of foreign ministers of the global counter-Islamic State group, spokespeople for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. While in the U.S., he is scheduled to meet with Sens. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, Angus King, R-Maine, and Cory Gardner, R-Colo., as well.
Principal topics of the meetings will be transatlantic relations and the security situation in Europe and neighboring regions. Mikser will also give a speech at Georgetown University.
