Pärnu Volleyball Signs Stephen Nash
The Pärnu Volleyball Club on January 12 signed a contract with Stephen Nash, a 26-year-old Canadian who has played in the Swedish, Egyptian and Italian A2 leagues.
“Nash is 206 centimeters tall and weighs 97 kilograms, so he's in good form. He can play both in diagonal and corner offensive positions,” said the team's manager, Reio Tilk.
The contract with Nash runs through April, though the team has the right to extend it, sport.err.ee reported.
Pärnu had also been considering signing Brazilian player Vinicius Raguzzoni until an Achilles tendon injury took him out of action for at least a half year.
