Toyota to bring four drivers to Rally Estonia

Toyota Gazoo Racing will be bringing four cars to Rally Estonia, to be driven on southern Estonian roads in early September. Its lineup will, in addition to regular stars Sebastien Ogier, Elfyn Evans and Kalle Rovanperä, also include Takamoto Katsuta.
"We are eagerly awaiting the chance to continue the 2020 season. I'm happy that Takamoto will be driving at Rally Estonia with us. The event should suit him nicely," Toyota team boss Tommi Mäkinen said in a press release.
"Because it has been a long time since the last world championship rally, it will not be an easy one. We will give Takamoto time to get used to the Toyota WRC car. After that, we will help him find his speed, which is very important at Rally Estonia.
The last time the Japanese competed in a WRC car was at Rally Sweden in February. "I'm glad the series will return in September. I can take part in a complete new rally and I am grateful for the opportunity. I have been concentrating on improving my physical form and on esports. I want to be in the best possible shape when I take to the stage," Katsuta said. He will also be driving for Toyota in Germany, Sardinia and Japan.
Reigning WRC World Driver's Champion, Estonian Ott Tänak, also taking part in Rally Estonia, won last year's title with Toyota, in the Yaris. He switched teams to Hyundai at season end, however.
