VIDEO | Viru Rally sees mistakes made and cars go off the road
The Viru Rally in Estonia took place this Saturday, with the reigning world champions Ott Tänak and Martin Järveoja taking their first win driving their Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC. The rally saw a total of over 80 participants and offered plenty of entertainment.
"There were interesting sections, which is the reason why small rallies are worthwhile – there are different situations and conditions that all have something to teach," Tänak told ERR in an interview.
Tänak and co-pilot Järveoja finished the seven-stage rally one minute and 43 seconds ahead of Georg Gross and Raigo Mölder in second and two minutes and 44.5 seconds ahead of Egon Kaur and Silver Simm in third.
