Rope walker Jaan Roose sets an Estonian record
On Monday, tightrope walker and slackliner Jaan Roose walked from the roof of Paju tänav's office building to the roof of Tigutorn in Tartu.
The length of the tightrope was 300m and the rope was set at the height of 60m.
Roose told Red Bull on June 25: "The tightening of the slack was one of the challenges of crossing the distance. A technical challenge was also the city environment and that we had to set the slack across Emajõgi River."
The 28-year old Roose, Estonia's leading slackliner and rope walker, is signed to Red Bull. He is a three-time world champion and the first slackliner in world history to do a double backflip on a slackline.
