Strong winds disrupt some ferry services in Estonia

Ferry service between Saaremaa and Hiiumaa, Western Estonia's two biggest islands, as well as service conneting Prangli Island with the mainland were disrupted by high winds on Saturday.

Morning departures of the Subsea Seven from both Sõru and Triigi on the Saaremaa-Hiiumaa route were canceled. The operator, Kihnu Veeteed, promised an update on the situation with its scheduled evening departures at 4 p.m.

The ferry Wrango likewise did not depart from Leppneeme to Prangli Island this morning. The shipper also promised an update on the situation with its scheduled evening departures at 4 p.m.

High-speed ferry service operator Linda Line also canceled all Saturday departures on the Tallinn-Helsinki route.
