Skype co-founder Toivo Annus dies at 48
Estonian businessman, investor and Skype's founding engineer Toivo Annus passed away as a result of an unexpected illness at the age of 48 on Sunday.
Annus' business success began with the creation of Skype, after which he was active as an investor in several business projects.
In August of last year, BNS reported that the asset value of Ambient Sound Investments (ASI), the investment company of Estonian co-founders of Skype, grew 17.5 percent on-year to 131 million euros in 2018.
In 2010, Annus was awarded the Order of the White Star, 5th Class, by the president.
