Video: Nabi Hoisted on Shoulders in Celebration of Silver Medal
Silver medalist Heiki Nabi was paraded on the shoulders of overjoyed countrymen to a Red Lion establishment in London on Monday night.
The 27-year-old Hiiumaa native earned Estonia its first medal of this summer's Olympic Games, coming in second in the men's 120kg Greco-Roman wrestling tournament.
Nabi secured his place in the final earlier on Monday by defeating Johan Euren of Sweden 3-1 in the semifinals.
In the final match, however, he lost to Cuba's Mijaín López Núñez, a four-time world champion in the weight category and the 2008 Olympic gold medalist, with a score of 3-0.
