Tartu Rock Smashes Rakvere to Win Estonian Basketball Cup
Tartu Rock cemented its place at the top of the nation's pro basketball league on December 30, beating Rakvere Tarvas by an impressive 80-51 to take the Estonian Cup for the second year in a row.
The victory comes despite the absence of star player Janar Talts, who was playing abroad for the national team.
Tartu opened its impressive point gap early on, ending the first quarter 28-11, and held the lead for the rest of the match, sport.err.ee reported.
