The Cranberries Cancel Tallinn Concert

Irish rock band The Cranberries, which was to play at the Õllesummer beer festival in Tallinn on July 8, has canceled its appearance at the last minute.
The group had been the widely-promoted headlining act at this year's festival, which takes place in the city's Song Festival Grounds July 6 to 9.
Õllesummer organizers said they received a message on the evening of July 5 explaining that the band was forced to cancel because the father of lead singer Dolores O’ Riordan is critically ill.
In a statement, the organizers said they were in contact with The Cranberries' tour manager looking for a replacement act to fill the main stage on Friday evening. They are discussing a new date for the band to appear in Tallinn.
Organizers said that previously-purchased July 8 tickets to the festival would be honored on any other festival day, and could also be returned to the Piletilevi ticket agency for a refund from July 11 to 26.
