Landspout Takes Roofs Off in Kuressaare

The number of buildings that lost their roofs due to what rescue officials said was a non-supercell-type tornado in Kuressaare now stands at nine.
No one was injured in the incidents, which damaged both apartment buildings and detached homes in Saaremaa's capital.
Across the country, rescue officials were summoned due to weather-related damage in 10 cases over the weekend.
The weather service's thunderstorm advisory continues for today, with warnings of wind gusts of 72 kph and up, albeit no further mention of tornadoes.
Regionally, parts in Estonia are twister country, say forecasters. The spouts can hit land or water equally.
"In Estonia, primarily eastern and southeastern Estonia have been dubbed tornado alley, but there have been many tornadoes and waterspouts Estonia-wide," said Eva-Maria Sula of the Meteorological and Hydrological Institute in issuing a weekend tornado warning on Friday.
