Video: Cargo Plane Freed, Tallinn Air Traffic Restored
A cargo plane that had sunk into soft ground was tugged out by 13:55 on Friday after one of the plane's wheels had veered off the pavement during taxiing following a normal landing at Tallinn Airport.
Air traffic was restored 20 minutes later, having been partially halted because the plane, an Airbus 300 owned by ULS, was in the immediate vicinity of the runway, reported uudised.err.ee.
Some smaller passenger airliners that did not need the whole stretch of the runway (such as those operated by AirBaltic and Flybe) were cleared for takeoff.
Personnel unloaded 40 tons of cargo prior to pulling the plane back onto the pavement.

According to initial information, the runway's friction coefficient was within standard limits and weather condition could not be blamed for the incident.
