Anupõld said that the three bear cubs had initially stood on their hind legs at the edge of the road and she had to blink multiple times before believing what she saw, reported regional paper Lääne Elu. The three cubs then ran across the road and disappeared into the patch of forest on the other side.

According to the vet, she saw the cubs along Tallinn-Haapsalu Highway at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Monday.
