Estonia's first-quarter growth biggest in Baltics

Estonia's first-quarter economic growth was the biggest in the three Baltic countries, it can be seen from flash estimates of the three countries' respective statistics offices.

Estonia's first-quarter GDP grew 4.4 percent on year, while Latvia's economic growth was four percent and Lithuania's 3.9 percent.

Compared to the fourth quarter of 2016, Latvia's economy grew 1.6 percent, Lithuania's 1.4 percent and Estonia's 0.8 percent.

Lithuania's first-quarter GDP was €9.2 billion at current prices, while Latvia's was €5.87 billion and Estonia's €5.2 billion.
