Klassikaraadio to host live broadcasts of Pärnu Music Festival

ERR's Klassikaraadio will move to the summer capital next week and will broadcast nine live broadcasts from the Pärnu Music Festival, July 11-18.

The live broadcasts from the Pärnu Music Festival will take place nightly. Nele-Eva Steinfeld, Miina Pärn and Lisete Velt are to present the concerts and festival life, while the sound directors of the concert broadcasts are Teet Kehlmann and Siim Mäesalu.

Klassikaraadio's daily program "Suveduur" brings interviewers, festival moods and impressions directly to the Pärnu Concert Hall, from Tuesday to Friday from 1 p.m to 3 p.m.

The opening concert of the festival can be heard on the radio on July 11 at 8 p.m. The Sinfonietta Riga will be conducted by Paavo Järvi, the soloist is Triin Ruubel-Lilleberg (violin).
