Gallery: Unusual 'ice wall' appears on Peipsi järv shoreline

The cold weather has led to the emergence of an unusual phenomenon on the shores of Peipsi järv (Lake Peipus).

The ice wall, near the village of Kauksi, Ida-Viru County, on the north shore of the lake, is naturally occurring and is as high as five meters in places, while it spans around 100 meters in length (see gallery).
